The silver lining is the decline in cosmetic procedures, the dangers of which have been severely minimized. Hopefully, the decline will make people think twice about gambling with their looks and lives and better appreciate the beauty of having a healthy body enough to refuse subjecting it to the dangers of the OR.
As for younger surgeons who entered the game, they are getting their just deserts. Any doctor who goes into surgery just for the $$$ of performing cosmetic procedures should have chosen another career.

Beware of sites that were created just to advertise surgeons like the one above. Find surgeons where you can contact previous patients so you can talk with a real patient, such as testimonials that include the patient's email.
