Wine walks, pub crawls, breweries, art town, river festivals, collegiate sporting events, tahoe beaches, numerous outdoor activities, cold winter nights, ugly women... we are definitely not short on reasons to drink.

If Burning Man was included, 2nd place would be a very distant second.

Those who truly care about life and especially theirs, might take an extra couple of minutes to use Google's search engine to view what just may be a neurological disease that has a very stong possibility being involved in the reason for death. One very important issue I'd like to get across hoping you won't mind.

This Year of 2009 happens to be the 50 Year Anniversary of CPM yet it still is known by very little of the public especially here in the United States. So why do I care to spend a few minutes letting you know? For reasons totally unknown by the general public which in my opinion is strictly because I happen to be a victim of this disease and miracuously lived through what is said to be only about a 25% chance of living.

Note that it's been stated that the main cause of reason to be a victim does have to do with alcoholism by way of "Hyponatremia," which involves a low sodium facor in the blood. The actual correction factor is whats said to be the most dangerous part. As I now leave you, please keep this side note in mind. If you remember the Terri Schiavo incident in regard to a few ears ago being all over the news how her husband wanted her taken off life support, she had a disorder called, "The Locked-In Syndrome," which happens to have a connection to Central Pontine Myelinolysis.

Since my personal research began in regard to CPM, I now am pleased to tell all that I am the Founder of The CPM Awareness Foundation which comes to the assistance to those world wide. Again, please spend a few minutes as your LIFE is very special to me. Let's try to keep it. G-d Bless....
