I'm surprised they didn't mention tonsil crypts and the tonsil stones. There are pits (like sacs) on either side of the back of your throat and dead skin cells as well as bits of food get stuck in there. Bacteria feed on the refuse and stink up your mouth. I usually use an ear swab and stroke the back of my throat beneath the tonsil crypt, going from bottom to top, to get them out. Beware of your gag reflex if you try this. If you do get one out, smell it. It's terrible.

A great way to floss more easily is a product called brytonpick. its portable which means you can take it with you everywhere you go -- you can even floss at a restaurant, which means you will never have embarassing food stuck in your teeth again!!! check it out at brytonpick.com

Some people really don't understand that people with bad breath can't help it. Its something that they just... have. It doesn't mean they don't brush their teeth or drink or smoke or have a disease. It really hurts the people with bad breath when people 'discriminate against people with bad breath.'

Personally I'd rather not smell either. But bad breath is a very important factor in making major decisions. At a business deal, if he can't take care of his breath how well will he take care of my interests, If he farted straight out, that may be forgivable on down the line, but persistent bad breath?? I would never date a guy with persistent bad breath. (NEVER would I deal with a public farter either)

Great help for morning tongue bacteria from using flat tongue scrapers available in all drug stores among the tooth brushes. Yin foods (alkaline) will help bad breath vs. Yang foods (acid producing. Surprisingly lemons & limes, acidic by definition, convert within the body to help it be more alkaline. Lemon water as mouth wash, anyone?
