Unfortunatly many workers at pharmaceuticals do not care and get away by disposing ingredients through the water drainage when cleaning instruments where they work. This I know as a fact since I used to work in two very well known companies. There is a high cancer and other illnesses risks in these towns and still I hear and see the same thing going on. There should be cameras in these places to make sure no such thing happens and our waters stays as should be.

Something must be done about rising medicare health care cost. This is the next looming crisis. Just like the financial sector problem the persons who have the greatest need will take it in the shorts and the fat cats will get fatter!!!

Thanks for pointing out that this is the 100 year anniversary of chlorine being used to make water safe. I actually do some work with the American Chemistry Council and I think it's one of the most extraordinary and important health developments of the modern age. I think a lot of Americans take it for granted.
