My daughter was 21 and was taken to the er by ambulance on Nov.17th 2006 for seziures which she never had before. The Er. doctor did some blood work and X_RAY assured us it was not meningitis but seziure disorder and released her. The next day I took her to the clinic as she was still feeling very ill. The DR. reviewed her hospital record did some blood work said her white count was stiil hihh but felt it was not meningitis but the flu. He gave her a shot for her headache and a shot for the vomiting and released her. That night she was again taken by ambulance to another Er.They did a lumbar punctue right away and it was possitive for viral meningitis as well as herpes simplex encelephitis. My daughter was responding and the DR. was hoping that they started treatment intime. But on the 22 my daughter went into cardiac arrest and life support was witdrawn the following day. HOW sad for us that we intrusted these Doctors to provide her proper medical care and they did not.
