I don't know what type of person doesn't know that you can get HIV from unprotected sex. There are so many things that are wrong with this person. So she says she got HIV+ but didn't know, because she was educated... but the people in the health book didn't look like her?!? Are you kidding me?

"As for boyfriends, you can tell a lot about a man's character when you tell him that you have HIV. It actually helps me a lot in the dating world. I used to date a guy for years before I found out that he was no good. Now I find out in the first 10 minutes."

Look at that quote. Honey... you are HIV+, you are going to judge a person for not wanting to date you because you can spread HIV to him?!? Are you kidding me??!? Look at yourself in the mirror, it's fine to be positive, but she's acting like she's the same person to everyone else, and somehow dating should still be the same way. IT'S NOT!

There is a huge population of people, especially those from certain sections of Europe, who are carriers of this disease and don't get sick themselves. Please, US News and World Report, have one of your health writers write an article on them to educate all of us on this danger.

We need to be more aware of This disease and ways to prevent it. Some get it unintentially others seek it by falling and dewelling in desires. Why not marrying instead of sleeping with girls or men or using drugs. This is unethical. we need to repent and seek forgiveness. Life is full of pleasures but not this way. May God bless and save our world from his wrath and from all evils that surrounds us. Ameen!!!!!

I have been HIV+ for 22 years. It was in the early 80Ts that I started to become aware of what HIV was. I didn't start taking any medication until 2006. The most helpful for me was to maintain a spiritual connection with a grater power. My health has been pretty much stable. Information is very important because most often medications are where all the ilnesses stem from. Our youth as well as our seniors need this information. So if you are HIV+,share your experiences with all you come in contact with. It is not a death sentence, It is an opportunity to give to society life saving info.
