This really amazed me. I read a few months ago that it was only a third of our population that has sampled herb, and i thought that was reasonable, but wow. I've never sampled myself, but i am a supporter. Individual rights always should come before moral inclination.

and then I looked around me and realized that this was a lie. What I learned from the zero-tolerance message was that they were going to lie to me about drugs, so I was going to have to figure this out for myself. And I did.

Cocaine is a bad drug. Pot is not, and it is much more akin to alcohol and probably less addictive than caffeine (and certainly less addictive than that other legal carcinogen, nicotine).

Our drug policies are contradictory, ineffective, and stupid and have been for a very, very long time.

teach your kids to avoid cocaine, heroin, meth - pot isn't going to destroy their lives, unless of course they are caught by police and thrown in jail. However, I guarantee that addiction to cocaine IS a serious problem. I have a sibling who is a drug addict. She is NOT addicted to marijuana - would that she was! No, the problem is COCAINE and HEROIN. I wish you media would take more responsibility and stop lumping a plant which is a drug only in the sense aspirin is with very bad soul and life destroying DRUGS which are the scourge of our country. You do add to the very problem of teenage drug ADDICTS by these lies you spread. Its been over 70 years since Reefer Madness so please, enough with the lies. We actually know the truth.
