We also are trying to get our son's gaming under control. He would play nonstop if we let him and doesn't care about anything but playing Call of Duty. He's failing classes now and goes to a friend's house to play when he should be in school. Seriously thinking about just banning all vgames in the house.
Just downloaded thsi book for parents http://www.techaddiction.ca/help_child_addicted_to_video_games.html
So far it has been better than the counselor we took him to. We just want our son back.

I have a son who was an honor roll student now is a c,d,f student as a freshman in high school all do to these online game for xbox and the computer game world of war craft. My son was a real out going kid with a lot of potential in art, football and school as well as having alot of friends he use to hang with. Now he just complains school is to hard and just finds excusess for everything what it boils down to is he's becomming a typical loser like someone you would see throwing his life away on drugs. The only thing I can do as a parent right now is take away all his electronics and see what happens. Stay tuned?

I can quit at anytime. games are an escape from the world around us. For those who havent been discovered and who havent been successful get a game play online. If ur number 1 in a huge game you will be a celeb in no time flat. KEEP GAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!
