I think doing drugs is a waste of time... I mean, all your doing is just sitting there getting high and doing absolutly nothing to benefit yourself or your future.

Doing drugs is also a very selfish thing to do to yourself and your family and true friends. When you do drugs, your holding yourself back from every oppritunity there is that the world has to offer. If you do drugs with "friends" then their not your friends and your not their friends because your hold each other back from the good things in life... Drugs also bond you to their harmful sustance and make you their slave. I hate what drugs do to people. I hate it. Someone important to me got involved with it, caused them pain, theefore caused the family pain and me pain... Drugs are dumb...

No offense to anyone here, but this seems to me like you're just dodging questions with a propagandized "Drugs are bad!" rubber stamp.

I am not a student, but do have a student in middle school that has over half his friends he has lost due to drugs and his choice not to use. He is battling to tell or not to tell on his friends. the times he has told out of caring for this friend have not turned out well because the parents are in denial and it didn't help his friend stay away from drugs. I have gone to the schools, local law enforcement and parent groups and get the same answers. DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING WE CAN NOT HELP. Programs have been cut, what can I do as a parent to not just help my child that is saying NO TO DRUGS but my community!? Those kids that say no need just as much help to keep saying no as the kids that say yes! Help!
