I think preterm births that survive are more resilient than normal birth children. There bodies had to undergo so much more to make it into this world. My friend and my sister both have children like this. They hardly ever get sick and when they do it isn't for as long as a normal child would be sick. Premature birth children whom are hit by trains or tossed from balconies are however more likely to die than normal birth children who are not.
