This quick test may identify more than 90 percent of men over 55 who are at risk for osteoporosis. It is adapted from the Male Osteoporosis Risk Estimation Score (MORES) self-assessment devised at the University of Texas Medical Branch and published today in the Annals of Family Medicine. A score of 6 points or more suggests a talk with a doctor about getting a bone density X-ray scan.
