seasonal flu or swine flu?

i just want to know if there is a way to tell if its just a seasonal flu or h1n1?

please tell me! im 14 years old and i dont want to get it! thanks.

IT"S H1N1 Not Swine Flu

Quit trying to kill our PORK Industry be refeing this unfortunate illness as Swine Flu IT IS NOT OF SWINE ORIGIN. That Has been said and proven over and over again

h1n1

How can you be contagious for a week but told not to quarantine yourself more than 2 days after your fever breaks...doesn't make sense to me

Swine Flu

I had taken a trip to Disneyland and later that night started feeling tired, sore throat, sweats and body aches. I thought it was from walking around all day and it being a little cold out. Later when I got home it seemed worse . In the morning I woke up throwing up , went to Urgent Care , then there the Dr. said they weren't even testing for swine flu anymore because everyone was coming up positive !!!

He saide since I came in early , (within a few hours of the first symptoms) Tamiflu would work fine ..... I still feel bad , but kinda feel like it could be getting a little better .

Think You Have Swine Flu? What to Do

I dont think- I just read a lot of "stuff" and believe it all, you see I have "no-mind" and therefore am not capable of any reasoning whatsoever.

But a person in a white coat told me that I may have something called the Cow-Flu and the Horse-Flu. What do I do?

Swine flu shot

I am not taking this shot as I am scared to death from the side affect of Guillion Barr syndrome. I have fibromyalgia and am a diabetic. I have seen someone with Gullion Barr syndrome. I have often wonder if my fibromyalgia stems from when I took the swine flu shot in 1976.

Treatment for H1N1 flu

Most people with suspected flu do NOT need to visit their doctor, although a phone call might be a good idea. Not all doctors are able to perform the rapid flu test. The following was taken from the CDC website:

Most people ill with influenza will recover without complications.

Some people are at highest risk of influenza-related complications and are prioritized for treatment with influenza antiviral drugs this season. They include:

•People with more severe illness, such as those hospitalized with suspected or confirmed influenza

•People with suspected or confirmed influenza who are at higher risk for complications

◦Children younger than 2 years old

◦Adults 65 years and older

◦Pregnant women

◦People with certain chronic medical or immunosuppressive conditions

•People younger than 19 years of age who are receiving long-term aspirin therapy

Need more information

My daughter, son in law and granddaughter are all exposed to whatever I have and my 2 boys have- all the swine flu symptoms. Tamiflu sounds like it could prevent it for those who haven't come down with it,but can make you nauseaous or cause vomiting. Damned if you do,damned if you don't. So many people at the ERs sick,so do you only go there if you're dying??? It's crazy.

I actually had it

And it wasn't that bad. Just mass hysteria in my opinion. I didn't feel that it was any worse than seasonal flu. I still have a minor soar throat but not like the kind that keeps you from eating.

omg I am so scared to go to school I might catch the flu

I live in USA greensboro ,NC and I am going to high school next year in grimsly high school and I am so scared to catch the flu an I hop they cancel school
