Elizabeth Edwards

In both of her books she writes like she is talking to a friend. I feel like she is my friend now and I wish she was not having this breast cancer to deal with, or her marital problems, and mostly that her Wade was not gone.

She is now facing dying young and with young children, which is so awful for her and her whole family, and now for those of us that feel like she is a friend. She has touched my heart.

I have faced much adversity, and have had breast cancer when my youngest was 6 years old.

But she is so eolquent and graceful, honest and real. I wish her my very best and I wish her life to be as full as possible. I wish I could talk with her and hope she knows how much she has affected others in her lifetime. And her Wade has affected others and still is through her writing.

I hope she reads this and knows. You know.

I admire her for her tenacity ,intelligence & values. At the same time I can't help but feel sorry for her because finding a stranger at her side at this time instead of a supportive mate is the ultimate betrayal .She is in my prayers.
