The paper defined a high CRP level as anything above 3.9 mg/L. A high SAA level was greater than 8.1 mg/L.

Inflammation/breast cancer recurrence

The article does not indicate what "proper" CRP and SAA test results are. I am a breast cancer survivor of 15 years who is trying to decide whether or not to continue statins since my cholesterol is now well within normal limits.
