Menopause Hell

I had the list of hellish symptoms from menopause. Bio-Identical hormones are what I use and recommend to friends. I found that Amazon.com has a some amazing products that are not available in the retail outlets. Also you can read reviews from other women who have used these products.

Bioidentical Hormones

I just started the Bioidenticals 8 days ago and am feeling much better. I do have to take them twice a day rather than once a day as prescribed. That's what it's all about experimenting with them until you find the right dosage for your body. I buy my progestone cream from "The Vitamin Shop" and the estradiol cream is made in a Compound Pharmacy. I also drink a delicious glass of Chocolate Soy Milk a day. I'm 48 and my blood test revealed that I was in total perimenopause and almost completely in Menopause. I just stopped taking "Yaz" birth control pill after 3 years and still have a regular period . I'm wondering how that will be now that I'm on the creams. My advice for you women looking for a Dr, to help you with this is First find a Compound Pharmacy and call them and they will refer you to a Dr. That's how I did it. Good Luck:)

Question

I have been on Boi Identical Hormones for 16 years, my doctor has suggested I go off them, I will be 67 in December, and I feel great, I really do not want to go off them, however my doctor has warned me of the chances of breast cancer or a stroke, is this a factor or is my quality of life worth the risk

Bioidentical hormones

I am about to take Bioidential soon and am rather worried that I would start menstruating again - could this happen? Many years ago I was on HRT (Premarin) and this was just awful. When I decided to come off it it took me almost a year. My menopause symptoms were not too bad at the time - had some very light hot flashes. Of late I sleep very badly and have had about 10 urinary infections during the past year. I am at present seeing a medical doctor who practises natural health and who suggested I go on to bioidentical hormones (not many people here in S Africa have heard of it. Many thanks.

Bioidentical Hormones

Suzanne Somers introduced me to one of the first doctors advocating Bioidentical Hormones, Dr. Jonathan Wright. Before him I had no idea what I was putting into my body. Now I work with my doctors to create a healthy regimen and listen to the advice of Dr. Wright. Check it out...

Re:bio identical hormones

I just started today on the hormones. My skin has been very itchy and I think it could be hormonal. They gave me 2 creams and 1 for the vagina area and thigh. I am 56 years old.

Bioidentical Hormones

I agree totally with what Suzanne Somers says, I am also on bioidentical progesterone and feel great. Iam not doing the same method as her. But still I feel better than I use to.

Natural Ways That Work

I know of a doctor who prescribes bioidentical hormones and practices alternative medicine in the Chicago area. Her name is Dr. Maria Kraszynska MD and her web site is www.mybioidenticalhormones.com.

I have been seeing her for BHRT for the past two years and have definitely seen remarkable changes in my health. Before Dr. Kraszynska started me on bioidentical hormones I had been suffering horrible menopausal symptoms.

I don't believe women should be left to suffer menopausal symptoms when there are natural ways available to help. Thank you Suzanne for brining awareness to this topic.
