What I'm confused about is if I can take Guardasil if I'm sexually active with my boyfriend and I was his first and he was my first. Neither of us were or are infected with any STDs and we use condoms. Is it still safe to be vaccinated?

I took my first shot on oct 08 and i was feeling confuse and tierall the time after i had it. I was also forgetting things all the time but i still whent and got my second shot on january 09.Three weeks later i started getting dizzie and on pain all the time. My body is always tier and my family notice it right away so i though it was me going threw hormon changes but my symptoms are getting worse my bones are always hurting i feel nauses all the time and i fainted too many times already. I have moments were im very weak and is affecting my whole family. I get so mad at my self because i can't do anything like before and the more i try the more i fail my four year old daughter is always asking me to play but my energy level wears off two minutes after we start playing i know i was not like that before. Im drinking vitamins, magnesium,and also some energy pills and also stress pills but i feel the same. I have to get my third dosage but im not going to kill my self instead i will fight aginst all of my symptoms hoping that they go away. I am receiving my second shot tomorrow and I have had no side effects. I had a growth in my uteris and it has actually gone down in size and I place part of the reason on Gardisil.

I think that when taking taking any medication, it should be accepted with a grain of salt. Some people are able to react well to certain drugs and some don't. A lot of the time its allergies.

How are we supposed to find cures if no one is willing to try for the greater good?

I hope the guinea pigs who try it for you realize that some people will never care but will continue to complain until grey is pink... not black or white.

Just another thought! Or Rant! Why is it that when there is something sexually transmitted from things like pregnancy, Guardisil, or anything else, Women have to be the ones to take the preventitive measures. If this HPV is spread by sexual contact shouldn't the males in society be the ones taking these drugs . What are these reserchers/scientists thinking! Is it that they feel males are irresponsable will not take it or take it proberly. Or are the males coming up with this, so they don't have to be subjected to the side effects of everything. such as with birth control (blood clot,stroke,heart attack,etc.)

Now with the Guardasil ( pain, swelling, itching, bruising, and redness at the injection site,headache, fever, nausea ,dizziness, vomiting,fainting, Oh yeah, then there's the posibility of difficulty breathing,wheezing(bronchospasm), hives,rash swollen glands (neck, armpit, or groin),

joint pain, unusual tiredness or weakness, generally feeling unwell, leg pain, shortness of breath, chest pain,aching muscles, muscle weakness, seizure, bad stomach ache

I just don't even know what to say. I'm just thinking we women are being used as a bunch of guinea pigs. I would love nothing more than to be able to prevent any serious heath problems for my childrens future. But with this, will I be causing more. Who knows what other problems will churn up next, sterility! Just read these comments from others. It's very scary

I was told of this vaccine by my pediatrician when it first came out. Two years later my daughter is not 14 & 1/2. I was worried about this vaccine due to it being very new, so I have avoided letting my daughter get it until it has been around for a bit and I could see if there were any bad side effects. I thank God after reading these comment that I have not let her get it and I have no intention to unless it or any other is proven to be completely safe.
