Dara Torres
I applaud Dara. Too many women have chosen to "settle" for the middle age spread..much too soon. Sure its hard work. You can't BUY abs.. Diet, exercise and hard work are the secret.
'Real Woman' is such a cliche
It's ture, 'real woman' is an overused and unintelligent, immature response to a strong, fit, talented athlete, a gorgeous, self-disciplined model or an attractive actress. We hear it all the time: "she's not a role model blah blah good genetics blah she has money blah unlike real woman blah".
Dara Torres is an athlete. Most important is her athletic ability. She shouldn't be criticised for having hugely toned abs, this just suggests a childish jealousy. There is no reason anyone should hit out at a self-disciplined individual just for being better than them.
There are many people without her nine assistants or her money that manage to exercise. It's an easy trap "If I had her time/money" but its not true, many manage nine hours of good exercise including running, swimming and press-ups without all thousands of expendable dollars or nine assistants. Sure, that's not as much exercise as her, but that much will give tone.
Dara Torres is real, she's just superbly.
Security news and articles... free Antivirus
Symantec Corp. has repaired a serious problem with versions of its leading antivirus software, which protects some of the world's largest corporations and U.S. government agencies. The flaw lets hackers steal sensitive data, delete files or implant malicious programs.
Symantec began providing a repairing patch for its software over the Memorial Day weekend, just days after researchers disclosed the problem. The speedy response — many software manufacturers take months to do similar repairs — underscored the seriousness of the threat, which affected the latest corporate versions of Symantec Antivirus.
The company said the patch is available using its LiveUpdate technology, which distributes the latest antivirus protections. The company said it has not detected efforts by hackers to exploit the antivirus flaw.
