Dear Mom,

If only you could have been there for me. If you were alive now, maybe, just maybe you could have gone for therapy as I am doing now and then I wouldn't have to. I wish that you could have encouraged me to fly like an eagle instead of hiding inside yourself and ignoring my needs.

I wish that you could have loved Terry and me so that we could have grown to be the women we were meant to be. I wish I wish I wish but its all in vain because you are dead and I am struggling to find out who I am.
