More thoughts about low vitamin D and autism

All good points. In addition, many children, after they stop drinking from a bottle or after they stop nursing, do not drink much milk. Parents have been worried that their children will become obese so many of them dropped milk from the diets of their kids. Children don't play outside as they have in the past so they don't synthesize vitamin D from exposure to sunlight. This is an intriguing avenue of study.

Deficiency vs. Conversion

It seems like people often jump to the conclusion that low 25D3 calcidiol is automatically 'deficiency.' It can also be caused by more rapid conversion to 1,25D3 (calcitriol.)

It'd be nice to see this addressed.
