Allergies do control lives

I have four children and they all have different food allergies. I have given up on conventional allergists. In our case they are a complete waste of time, effort and money and DEAD wrong. It's not a big surprise to me at all that allergies in kids are up 18%. I know my four kids aren't included in that number nor are my sisters two kids. When will doctors learn to listen to their patients and their advocates (their mothers/parents who love them and watch them like hawks and don't make up stories) Good grief! Finally maybe it will be taken seriously. I'm sure it will just provoke a barage of pharmeceuticals. Go where the money is. Never mind trying to figure out why just mask the symptoms and give these weakened immune systems more to fight, never mind the plate of side effects with those... It's disgraceful. I ran into a woman at the market who came to the US from Columbia. Her family never had any problems and now they have all sorts of food allergies. SHe blames our pesticides and preservatives and such.
