Gambling Odds

This makes casino gambling VERY inviting. I can get the odds on a Craps table down to very near even! But the worst games that you can find in a casino have odds that are ONLY (by comparison to the odds shown above) 3 -1 against... so even those are a real bargain! I'm headed for the casino!

no man is just a number

Dear Sir,

Your simplistic account of Powerball likelihood paints a picture of life as rational and mechanistic. You fail to take into account, however, the forces of Fate and Destiny. Like Hillary Clinton, you devalue and discount the most important facets of life: miracles, hope, and the overwhelming power of the human spirit and soul.

About On Men

It's fitting that On Men is being revived by Contributor Ford Vox, M.D., a resident in rehabilitation medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis. He will share his thoughts about the latest medical research and issues that affect men. Dr. Vox, who also reports for Reuters Health, knows he should spend more time swimming laps, but that would cut into his soothing soaks in the aquatic center whirlpool. Push him into the deep end with questions and comments at onmen@usnews.com.
