Price for Health Care

Keep in mind that the article is talking about charges not average payments. As an individual one has little negotiating power to get an average reimbursement. One can also look at Medicare rates to see what the government pays by code. Assume the typical payers like United and Anthem pay more than the Medicare rates. In my area, there are substantial discounts for low income persons.
