I see parents buying overweight children donuts and it makes me sad, and puzzled, you'd think the parents would know better.

Gary Taubes knows what he is talking about, POOR and OBESITY are strongly connected.

“EGO” Leads to USA Obesity

In search for a final solution to combat global obesity (including USA) I believe that I developed, in 2005, one of the best. I named it Luqaimat Training Technique “LTT”, which is a one form of delayed Gratification.

Obesity may be due to early gratification behavior. I named it early gratification-related obesity “EGO”, that is why I trained my patients on eating small meals “Luqaimat” 5-10 times per day, plus one diversified moderate-sized happy meal at the end of the day as a reward.

My morbidly obese patients (BMI 40+) lost an average of 32.4 Kg at the end of the year.

Nowadays, as a result of more training perfection which included my innovated technique of Stomach Satiety Spot stimulation, my morbidly patients lost average 42 kg at the end of the first year.

This means that acquiring the habit of delayed gratification is an effective way for losing weight and keeping it off.

In the 1960s, hundreds of children were subjected to The Marshmallow Experiment by psychology researchers at Stanford University.

According to the response to experiment, those children were classified into 2 categories based on their behavior: delayed gratification or early gratification.

Over the following years, these children have been tracked by Stanford researchers. They found that those who succeeded in delayed Gratification response had higher S.A.T. scores, lower BMI, better stress management, better career development, and ability to maintain friendships.

The scientists have since concluded that delaying gratification is a skill that can be acquired, learned and trained, simply by practicing specific techniques.

This is similar to what I did with my obese patients, when I trained them on “LTT”, and I am aiming to spread this approach in the Arab societies. I believe that USA scientists can use the “LTT” approach to combat the sky rocketing obesity in their society.

Calories consumed?

You highlight the fattest/thinnest states and the ones which exercise, what about ranking them by calories consumed?

Then you can see if people in New Jersey actually do eat less.
