Europe has banned

Europe has pretty much banned high fructose corn syrup, which is hard to avoid in the US. Maybe this is contributing to the early onset of diabetes and obesity in the US.

I think countries with national health care represent the people more because the nation pays the bills. Here the country represents industry.

In the UK every cow is inspected for mad cow. Here - well you must have seen the videos of what we put in our food system.

Nuts, you say? Why?

Because someone might not have legs - you big dope! Think about things before you say them, or worse, write them for the world to see...forever.

cognitive function

I.m 83 years old and have pretty much kept my cognitive function by doing lots of walking. Iv'e slowed down lately but still manage to get in 2 miles walking and then in the afternoon I go for a 20 min walk on the treadmill and I watch my diet every day.

Brain Power

Exercise is great for the mind and body. We should all do something each day to improve our minds, bodies and spirits. Our young-people are gaining too much weight. We must do more to help people live better and happier.

So how's this for "thinking power"?

Let's reward people with lower insurance premiums in health care "reform" on the basis of how much they walk. We'll get everybody a tamper-proof step meter and start measuring,.....
