ON FITNESS

THE ARTICLE DWELLS ON EXERCISE FOR FITNESS. WOULDN'T IT BE PRODUCTIVE AS WELL AS HEALTHFUL IF PEOPLE WHO NEED OR THINK THEY NEED EXERCISE, PERFORM SOME STRENUOUS VOLUNTEER WORK, THEREBY ACHIEVING THE GOAL OF EXERCISE

Help

Perhaps your doctor or orthopedist can refer you to a physical therapist for exercise that will help burn calories and give you some relief for your back, such as swimming. Swap frozen yogurt for ice cream, cut back on bacon and cheese, and vow to try one new fruit or vegetable every week. Cut out frozen dinners and try new chicken recipes utilizing the broiler or toaster oven.

Motivation to exercise

Good article. This actually points out many things I did throughout my personal journey to a better body. The truth of the matter is sometimes we do need a little push and pull to get up off the sofa and do what we gotta do. One major motivational source for me was putting up pictures and constant reminders of my "before" body so I would scare myself into exercising. Another major thing is enjoying hat you do BUT, sometimes, we have to do things we don't necessarily love. For example, some of my clients hate lifting weights, but to reach ultimate fitness, and experience several benefits of strength training, they have to do it. Now when you balance that out with something you do enjoy, say jogging for example, it all works out.
