RE: "FAT"

i weigh 380 pounds and i happen to be a lady who is happy with her weight. i would rather enjoy myself with 13000 calories a meal than be on a diet and not be able to enjoy myself. goooooo ALLLL OUT for superbowl sunday and ennjoy yourself get fat and be happy

ps. i dont have a husband nor have i ever been kissed and i am 30:(

I hope you are kidding, I may not know you but you are WAY TOO young to be this unhealthy (not "fat"). Try calorie count at about.com it will help you ADD years to your life instead of robbing yourself AND others of what you bring to the world :) good luci I am praying for ya!!! :)

About time

Aragon gives me hope in the field of nutrition.

I wish more RDs/Nutritionists would pay more attention to science and less to the ADA guidelines that have proven inept in battling the US's obesity epidemic.

My bad

I had an egg and a piece of toast for breakfast and was planning on a chicken caesar salad for dinner. My husband and son had buffalo wings, chili & brats at half time - a true fat feast. I caved and had a brat smothered in yellow mustard & onions. Oh well.....

My Take

I think anyone who reads this article and is interested in heath, fitness and nutrition should get to know Alan Aragon. One of the most educated individuals on the subjects at hand! What do you have to lose....a few LBS!

I agree with Aragon

The biggest problem with this country's obesity epidemic is that everyone has become fat and lazy, and no one realizes that if you over indulge on Thanksgiving, Super Bowl Sunday, etc. THEN WORK IT OFF. Get off the couch and go run 4 miles.
