Children's Hospital Colorado For Patients

Profile for Patients

Children’s Hospital Colorado, a private, not-for-profit pediatric healthcare network, has been a national leader in children’s healthcare since its inception in 1908. Consistently ranked a leader in pediatric specialty care by U.S. News and World Report, the American Nurses Credentialing Center also named Children’s Colorado a Magnet hospital for the second time, recognizing our continued excellence in nursing and patient care.

Children’s Colorado’s main campus includes a 318-bed state-of-the-art facility, built in 2007, on the Anschutz Medical Campus. A new wing opening in 2012 will add 350,000 square feet for intensive care units, surgical areas and the Colorado Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health, a partnership with University of Colorado Hospital and University of Colorado School of Medicine. As part of the Anschutz Medical Campus, Children’s Colorado is part of one of the largest healthcare research complexes in the world.
