U.S. News Best Hospitals

Top-Ranked Hospitals for Geriatrics

Best Hospitals Rankings Methodology

Nearly 1,500 hospitals are listed in Geriatrics. All are experienced in treating difficult cases—a hospital is listed only if at least 2,274 inpatients at least age 75 who needed a high level of expertise in this specialty were treated there in 2007, 2008, and 2009 or if enough specialists recommended the hospital for such patients. The top 50 hospitals are ranked, based on score. The rest are listed alphabetically.
