Nationally Ranked Hospital
Rush Children's Hospital, a few blocks from Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood, is a small pediatric center, admitting about 75 patients a day. It is part of the large Rush University Medical Center, which is a designated Nurse Magnet facility, indicating nursing excellence. The hospital has a full-time librarian on staff to help patients and their families learn about specific medical conditions and a program that works with schools to keep patients on track with their academics.
