What You'll Eat
On Slim-Fast, you get 1,200 calories a day, most from eating Slim-Fast branded products. Each day, you’ll have three snacks, like a piece of fruit or a Slim-Fast Snack Bar (flavors range from chocolate mint to peanut butter crunch.) Also on the menu: two Slim-Fast meal replacements, which come in bar or shake form and include flavors like chocolate cookie dough and strawberries and cream. The only cooking you’ll do is one 500-calorie meal a day, and Slim-Fast provides plenty of recipes: You can have salads, or tacos, or burgers, for example. Eating out is allowed, and the company provides plenty of tips so you don’t sabotage your diet. Since your diet revolves around Slim-Fast products, however, it could grow tedious, especially if you don’t like the taste.
Recipe Resources
The only recipes you’ll need are for your daily 500-calorie meal, and Slim-Fast provides plenty. Since you might not get enough vitamin B-12 and vitamin D, as well as other nutrients, it’s worth considering ways to incorporate these into your meal.
