What You'll Eat
About 75 to 80 percent of what you eat each day will be plant-based foods never heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Say goodbye to anything that’s been cooked, processed, microwaved, irradiated, genetically engineered, or exposed to pesticides or herbicides. That means no pasta, baked goods, junk food, or store-bought juices, drinks, and milks. You’ll eat lots of fresh fruits and berries, as well as nuts and seeds in their whole, natural state. You can still have most of your favorites, but it’ll take work: Raw cupcakes and pizza crust, for example, require hours to days worth of dehydrating, sprouting, processing, and fermenting. You’ll also need to take steps to prevent food poisoning and to avoid raw choices that are toxic.
