All true. Another key thought to hold on to is not to allow absent minded or possible jealous hearted acquaintances to lure you off track of controlling your portions or purchasing food that will be too much of a temptation. If that cheesecake is not in your home, you cannot cut a slice from it.

I've struugled for a long time with my weight and cravings for junk food and ice cream was my favorite. I was very skeptical when i came across a product called Plexus Slim, it has literally changed my life. It has several benefits besides weight loss and inches coming off. I've been on it now for 2 months now and has lost 28 pounds and I don't have the cravings, and it curbs my appetite. Plexus Slim is all natural, it reduces your blood sugar, blood pressure and it will bring your cholesterol to a normal level. I recommend everyone taking a look at Plexus Slim even if its only a few pounds that you need to lose and the company offers a 60 day money back guarantee! Its worth it! I like the thought of keeping handy a "best and/or worst" photo of yourself for inspiration and motivation. I did something similar to shed leftover pregnancy pounds, even though it was FIVE years after the youngest was born. I am an artist, and drew a picture of me at my heftiest with a fridge in the background, a soda can in one hand and a big bowl of potato chips in the other. I pasted it on the fridge and it really helped. I lost a total of 35 lbs, which was almost too much.

Another thing that helped lose that weight was writing down everything I ate. But it can get old. I think the "shooting your dinner" is a great idea!

After this diet, I quit smoking for GOOD. I did gain back about 4-5 lbs, which was OK. This all happened about 28 years ago. I kept the weight off for years, and have never started smoking again, but eventually, I put the weight on when I began having some serious health problems and could not exercise much.

So, now I'm trying to lose 20 lbs., but it's much harder at my age!

Can't brush after a meal?...just keep breath mints with you...creates the same fresh taste in your mouth. I also quit smoking this way.
