steven kussin's comment is really the only logical one in this group.

tbh, there is little benefit to exercise that you can't get by restricting your calories by the same amount you would have burned via exercise.

i've burned 75 pounds off in 4 months by simply setting a calorie/day limit and sticking to it.

without a single cheat, temptation or failure once in those 4 months.

why exercise? all that does is increase the caloric deficit.

Yes, exercises are most important to reduce weight and fats. Walking, cycling, running, dancing, jogging are few types of useful exercises which are effective and useful to reduce weight.

Both are important to reduce your weight. Drinking hot water helps to reduce unwanted cholesterol in the body.

You really don't have to do this much exercise to stay in trim and lose weight.

Try this for a dollar

Dr Ken Cooper is my hero!!!

When I started running at age 36 I weighed 205 pounds, 5'11" tall (probably about 58 pounds of fat with a BMI of 28). In about 4 months I weighed 175 pounds, and the scale showed a BMI of 19% (33 pounds of fat)

You could watch the weight going off me for those 4 months. When I go swimming, I can easily sink to the bottom of the pool.

Its not "all about calories" because when you exercise you raise the number of calories you burn when not running. Its far more than the 100 calories per mile that you burn while running.

Don't expect excercise...even the 420 minutes recommended by the feds to do the trick. To burn 3500 calories thru excercise you will have to be almost Olympian in endurance.

The benefit of exercise is helpful for weight loss but not primary. It's still the calories.

Those who walk a half mile and then congratulate themselves with a donut have more than erased the benefit. This is almost the rule. Workout then eatout.

It's still all about the calories
