I have been practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique for 36 years now. I recommend it highly not only for stress relief but for overall personal development. It is widely researched and the results are consistently positive. One needs to learn from a qualified teacher. To avoid any impression of advertising, I will not put any URLs here, but some careful Googling will get you some good info.
