Hospital Infections

One of the oldest & best forms of antibacterial is colloidal silver. But it's use was discontinued 80 years ago so PROFIT could be made from the sale of antibiotics.

Linking Alzheimer's and cholesterol

Wrong article but, nevertheless, an interesting as well as, distrubing.Nowdays, we seem to get whapped with at least one of those per week.

I have to wonder if in the future anyone is going to look back and call the time we are presenting living in, "the good ole days"? As for why we human critters seem to be plagued by oodles of health and environmental problems, I believe that wise, ole swamp philosopher, Pogo, summed it up best, "we have met the enemy and it is us!".

Health care in hospitals.

My experience with hospital health care is not a very happy one. Most problems occur because there is not adequate supervision of poorly trained providers. There seems to be an attitude, that all staff will do their jobs according to policy.I have encountered wonderful caring personel and also a small minority, who just want to get by as they see fit.It seems that the patient must bear the responsibility for his or her own welfare, and this does not work out if the patient is unable to communicate events to the proper authorities, therefore it becomes essential that adequate supervision be more selective and watchful.
