Migraines Linked to Reduced Breast Cancer Risk

Researchers suspect estrogen levels play a part in the connection

My migraines have gone down in peri- and menopausal years. I've heard the same from many other women, so the researchers need to look at that subset, I think, to get a more clear picture of the links. Also, I've been told there could be a link to a mitochondrial mutation (most of those are really fatal but there isn't much research on minor ones), and also with nitric oxide chemistry in brain. I don't know what menopause does to those things but I think those are areas that should be explored. Otherwise you are going to have migraineurs begging doctors to yank their ovaries....
