Could you tell me what antibiotics you are using and how did you convince your doctor to let you use it for so long...most won't. For how long will you continue to use it?

The WB family drama '7th Heaven' even devoted an entire episode to it. It was quite good.

I think, though, more education and prevention should be given to Male Genital Mutilation (MGM), commonly known as Routine Infant Circumcision (RIC) in America. It's a gender inequality that doesn't protect boys. Girls are spared from Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) because not only is considered "barbaric", but laws protect them from it. It's time to make MGM illegal, too.

Get these potty mouth kids on some meds and doctors, put down the knife and (((leave the boys alone)))!!!

Our then 4.5 year old daughter began exhibiting motor and vocal tics seemingly overnight which rapidly became quite intense. We brought her to doctors who gave her a diagnosis of "tic disorder." A neurologist felt it had been brought on by an allergic reaction to children's allergy meds. I kept reading.

Seven months after the tics started, I returned to the information that many young ones have what is called PANDAS, an autoimmune reaction to a strep infection. Our pediatrician, on my insistence, gave our daughter a strep test and sure enough, it was positive (even though there were NO outside signs of strep--our dr. was VERY surprised). After the first two days of antibiotics, the tics started to disappear! After the 21 days on meds, they were only noticeable by me and my husband. Now, a year and a half later, they are completely gone!

If your child suddenly develops tics and there are no emotional stresses, ect.....demand a strep test.
