breast cancer in women
I think it is very important to get a second opinion and to get that opinion from a different hospital or medical group.
At some point, medical professionals should be aware of the persons in their front office. How are they conveying information to patients, are they courteous, rude, etc. There are some questions that the doctors should speak directly to the patient. This is a real frightening time for the patient and not the time for front office personnel to enact their definition of what the patient should or should not deserve. I am disgusted at the treatment that I received as a new cancer patient. I do know that stress should not be thrust upon you at such a trying time.
In many instances, as a minority, you don't want to think that you ill treatment is due to your race but doctors need to check out their patient pool to see if this is happening in their office.
