Celiac symptoms?

I have celiac disease, diagnosed 1 1/2 yrs ago. I am 73 yrs. for past 4 mos have had a white coated tongue, with a burning sensation in my mouth all the way down to my stomach. My family Dr. sort of blew it off, advised me to see an oral surgeon, who said it wasn't his field. Orig Dr. then advised me to see an ENT Dr., who prescribed Nstatin for a fungal infection. After 3 weeks of this & 1 week of Diflucan, I still have symptoms, My question - could this be related to Celiac - lack of B12 - or other causes?

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Researched Treatment

Many research studies have shown that clinical hypnotherapy is one of the most effective treatment methods for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Upon the advise of my gastroenterologist, I researched and found the IBS Audio Program 100 which was developed by medical clinical hypnotherapist Michael Mahoney of Guardian Medical Centre in Cheshire England. It was developed after years of research. It has a very good reputation with positive patient feedback for the last 10 years.

The IBS Audio Program provides gut-specific sessions that address all variants of IBS - diarrhea, constipation, urgency, pain and other symptoms. It also addresses the fear of urgency and needing the bathroom.

Michael Mahoney is a member of the Primary Care Society for Gastroenteroloy and other professional organizations and he work is included in many publications and books including First Year IBS, IBS for Dummies, IBS Chat. Clinical trials for the IBS Audio Program show it to be effective in the vast majority of users.

The program is very cost effective and costs less than one session of "live" therapy and requires about 1/2 hour each day. No side effects and can be used alongside treatments suggested by your physician. There is also a program for Children with IBS and Functional Recurrent Abdominal Pain.

Celiac Disease

My daughter had a stomach ache every day (no other symptoms) and it turned out to be Celiac Disease. Diagnosis came after going to 5 different doctors, 4 of whom blew it off as nothing. If you have a stomach problem find a doctor who will listen to you, take your problem seriously and then give you the proper diagnosis.

Daily Stomach Problem

Every morning I'd get up and have coffee, like most people. By the 2nd cup, I'd have a burning, hurting or irritating sensation in my stomach. I delt with it for several years. After most meals, I would eat and I'd get bloated. I was just miserable everytime I'd eat, and throughout the day, I'd get the burning, which I attributed to excessive stomach acid. I could drink ice tea, juices or milk either. So I'd drink diet sodas along with my morning coffee, throughout the day and with my meals. This seemed to be my answer to my stomach problems, right? WRONG!

During the cold months I'd drink 4-5 cases of diet sodas every month. During the summer months were talking 7-8 cases of diet soda...just for me:) Then I as the resession set in, I decided to cut costs by not keeping sodas in the house. That I'd only get a 12oz. diet soda when I went grocery shopping or something, and drink iced tea at home. It worked. My stomach is much much better. Now, I still don't burp like most people, but I don't feel the need to. I've even stopped pickup up my diet sodas at the grocery store too. I drink iced tea with my morning coffee. Coffee still irritates my stomach but with iced tea, it settles right down:) Try it:)
