Black and poor are not synonymous

If this was simply a question of economics why would this impact one sex of one race? Why wouldn't black hispanics also be impacted? I find the arguments in the comments to be spurious, and it's particularly disappointing to see a nutritionist comment in this way. Black and poor are not synonymous people. This type of thinking impedes they type of serious scientific investigation needed to uncover solutions to medical problems such as these.

Income vrs food allergies

I think that there is a correlation with the two for sure; for various reasons, some poorer people have less education which could stem to poor prenatal care or will introduce foods to infant unproperly (too early) which can cause food allergies. I work as a nutritionist and see these things all the time. It is sad..

one with higher income will eat various types of food which will be different with type of food for one with low income < different in contents, hygiene , frequency, exposure, etc. >
