Back Pain Solutions

It is interesting that with all the technology and ergonomic options we're tending to deteriorate more. The studies on back pain are indicating that much of the surgery and MRI's are adding to the high costs of health care almost exponentially, yet the pain is not going away.

The British Medical Journal released a very promising study on a very cost effective solution to back pain - The Alexander Technique. This is a re-education of how to move with integrated fluid motion to ease the snags, hooks and compression patterns typical of chronic back pain sufferers. There is even a ten minute video demonstrating the study and the superlative results. Just search Back Pain and Alexander Technique research.

Health care has options. It is exciting that other countries are doing research with proven solutions and cost effective too. There is hope for the Health Care options in the U.S.A to begin integrating such options and help to balance budgets.

Pain Free and Happy to have found a solution that gave me results.

chronic low back pain

I have been a nurse for 40 years.I have low back pain and know that it has been caused by years of repetitive wear and tear.I believe that backpain will be a bigger problem unless the cause is addressed. Responsibiiities continue to be added, nothing is ever taken away and there is never enough staff.I wish this could have been prevented because treatment doesn't work.[I've always been conscientious and have taught Body Mechanics for 20 of these years]
