Genetically engineering is a good thing

I think that genetically altered foods are a great thing because they provide us with food and who knows maybe in later years the genetically altered foods could actually save lives and cure diseases.

Obama halts last minute ruling

CNN reported Jan 20 that in one of his first actions, President Obama's chief of staff Rahm Emanuel had sent a memo to all federal departments to halt the implementation of rules issued during the final days of the Bush Administration. The halt would allow for a full review by the Obama Administration, according to the CNN report. Key among those rules for agriculture are the final rule on mandatory country-of-origin labeling on meat and other food products and the Food and Drug Administration's rule on genetically engineered animals -- both of which were issued last week.

More FDA corruption

Anything to make more money-discusting!

The FDA is killing us.Why do we allow it? I hope Obama can turn this around. What happened to nature as it was intended?

Morgellon's disease???

Morgellon's disease is not caused by genetically modified foods any more than autism is caused by vaccines. People always need something to blame!!! It's amazing. I'd rather eat something genetically modified then pumped full of hormones and artifical drugs anyday. This is our own doing anyhow. If we weren't all such pigs and needed so much meat in our diet, they wouldn't need to turn to genetic engineering!!

The FDA did not say that

The FDA never banned labeling of GM foods, they just said it was not required

What is the FDA hiding?

Why on earth would the FDA not allow labeling of these creations? What do they have to gain by NOT labeling these "animals"? Maybe people wouldn't buy them? Again, the consumer is left with no choice, and Big Agra wins another round.

Morgellons Disease

They believe Morgellons disease is linked to Genetically Modified Food and now they are going to genetically alter animals and not tell us which ones. My God what a nightmare they will unleash.

We need to know it is our choice.

Frankenstein running the animal farm, I for one want to know what the stuff I am eating is, we have gone over a big cliff and there is no going back. The world and the people in it are the sheep we are next.
