The Top Ranked Medicare Plan
I'm thrilled. I happen to be one of thousands of Preferred Care Gold members in the Rochester region that enjoys the wonderful, customer-focused coverage provided by the number one provider in your survey. With easy access to a wide variety of wellness programs, membership in the terrific Silver Sneakers program that provides no-cost access to regional health clubs, customer service representatives that smile while they talk and clinical counselors on-hand 24-hours-per-day, it's clear that your survey got it right! My hope is that the rest of the U. S. population can be served in the same great manner once other health plans learn how it's done and the new administration in Washington has a chance to see how health care can be provided with reasonable cost and high satisfaction.
Are New Consumer Satisfaction Measurements Needed for NCQA Health Plan Ratings?
Part of the consumer experience is how well the health plan communicates with the physician office. There is so much finger-pointing that goes on between the health plan and the physician office that the patient experience and care can be severely undermined by the disconnect. Health plans should be graded on their ability to provide information quickly and electronically to the physician office.

drug coverage
While my medicare plan is a good one and I think the cost is very reasonaable, the drug coverage is poor. Because I was self-employed when I reach the so called "Dnonut hole" my copays are huge. Because my prescriptions cannot be covered with generics and because I have quite afew of them as I age I have a large visa bill every month. I havae not found a plan tht would be of help to me personally.
