Too sick to report bad side effects

There's a federal agency that's supposed to receive reports from people who suffer bad side effects of drugs. When a person buys a prescription drug. an information sheet says to report bad side effects. But some drugs make a person so weak that they don't have energy to complete and send the forms. i suspect makers of harmful drugs count on this. I want the federal government to take over production of drugs so there is no profit motive attached. i make this comment after becoming aware of so many deaths and cripplings caused by harmful drugs. What do others think about TV ads that come right out and say an advertised drug may cause heart attacks, kidney failure, etc. and still they're on TV for sale? The ads say "Ask your doctor" about the drugs. That way, the patient can be blamed for being attached in any way to what happens.
