It's my experience that honey can heal burnwounds in a short period of time. Actually first degree burns heal within 24 hours. If you act fast, before blisters will form, spreading the honey over the burned part and then cover it with plastic foil; it'll heal in short time without leaving any blisters or redness.

I never close my door for the night without having honey in the house.
