Thank you Dr. Atala & team!

Thank you for doing stem cell research, it's so important to so many people & their families. Will you be able to grow the colon (large or small)? It would be hope for the many of us that have had to have our colons removed & try to live with bad results. I will continue to watch your research with great anticipation.

Thank God For You People

Are you doing on going clinical trials utilizing your research on cell regeneration? I was first introduced to this by listening to Dr. Oz and would like more information.

Can a pancreas be replaced??? I certainly hope so. With a relative suffering from Type 1 diabetes since 2002 (now 21), this would be such welcomed news. My relative also has autism and is on meds for seizures, This would take one less worry off the minds of our famuly.

Are you making Kidneys yet?

Hi,

I saw your website, and was simply amazed at all this space

age research. My question is are you making kidneys, yet? If

not, then when do you think you will? And, would you need the

patient to have his/her own kidney first?

Thank-you very much,

Sam Rizk

alternative to kidney failure

Respected sir,

The nephrons can be created artificially for the kidney failure. Today we find that nearly 1/4th of the people in this world are subjected to kidney diseases so early and they die so. Some injectable nephrons can be made so that the loss of nephron functions can be balanced. I think so we can use this to alleviate the kidney failure in the early stage.

Thanks to Obama for supporting cell research

For several reasons, I want taxes to be lavished on stem cell research. Being orphaned is very hard on children. Replacing organs of parents will be so wonderful. I saw a video of a man who lost the first joint of a finger. The cell treatment made it grow back, COMPLETE with the nail. As people grow older, it would be so nice to have a new heart instead of being hooked to oxygen, or to be able to bike after getting new leg parts. I thank Mrs. Reagan for endorsing cell research that might have helped her husband. If members of Congress read these comment pages, I hope they discover lots of requests to use taxes for cell research.
