Parents Influence on Teens

I am a bit skeptical of your research and answer to question 9, the degree of parental influence on teens. While I do know that teens do have a great deal of core character traits from parents, it is my understanding that teens refer to the opinions and influence of their peers than those of their parents. That is, most of their decisions are based on what their peers would think about them, than what their parents would think.

Interested in your research sources on this.

Thank you.
