now after the 50th study of aids and gays, can we get onto more mature studies? Why dwell on the obvious? And how many studies are we going to focus on babies? sleep deprived parents are going to put the kid to sleep any way they can just to try and get sleep. no one wants their baby to die but if it sleeps in a position better? it seems these studies lack any practical real life knowledge. they always seem so skewed. then unfortunately we have to do another study and the same studies emerge over and over without any real conclusions. perhaps there is a more holographic reason: fighting in the home, dogs licking the babies, could be any number of reasons not just positioning. could be emotional too. why only focus on the same thing over and and over.
Circumcision doesn't prevent AIDS
Why are we still studying this? Whatever mild effect circumcision may have on disease transmission, it DOES NOT prevent AIDS. Most of the half-million American men who have died of AIDS were circumcised at birth.
The idea of amputating an exquisite body part to fight disease is as ridiculous as it is offensive. You know, there are studies showing female genital cutting fights AIDS. The very thought is sick and wrong, for either gender.
